Covid-19 Policy

Updated Covid-19 Office Policy

We are doing our part in helping you stay safe while visiting Reed Chiropractic.  In addition to are normal cleaning and disinfecting procedures we have implemented a Covid-19 disease mitigation protocol for our office.  Here are specifics of what we are doing to help keep you safe.

Phone Pre-Screening:

  • We are asking all new patients on the phone if they have had any contact with anyone who may be Covid-19 positive and/or are they expressing any symptoms of Covid-19, feeling ill, have a fever, or any other respiratory of flu symptoms.

Social Distancing Practices:

  • Our office is practicing social distance by limiting the number of patients in the office at one time to 10.
  • We are currently requiring that you wear a cloth face mask to the office and prefer that you come inside by yourself unless the other person is also getting treated.
  • If you prefer you can wait in your car and we will text you when the doctor is ready to see you.

Daily Procedures:

  • All Staff takes their temperature and records it with any symptoms present before each shift.
  • Any Staff member that is showing any signs of illness is asked to call in and stay home.  If a staff member shows up to work symptom free but records a fever above 99.9 degrees will be sent home immediately.
  • Wipe down and disinfect all surfaces in the office including tables and chair every hour and after each shift.
  • Wipe down and disinfect all doctors and staff work stations each hour and at the end of each shift.
  • Hand Sanitizer is offered throughout the office for our patient’s convenience.

Procedures performed between each patient visit:

  • A staff member will wipe down and disinfect the pillows and tables where the patient just laid.
  • Our Doctors will wash their hands between each and every patient interaction.
  • Our Doctors and Staff will wear face masks while performing treatment and when 6 ft. distance is not achievable.

We are doing our very best to follow the current CDC Guidelines for disease mitigation for health care offices.  We are also asking our patient to follow the CDC guidelines for staying at home if you are sick feel or think you may be sick.
